The International Diploma in Risk Management & Safety Engineering (IDRMSE) includes two units:

1. Unit 1: Achieving Continual Improvement in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System.

2. Unit 2: Principles and Application of Science and Technology in Safety.

The program includes two scenario-based, 24-hour open-book examinations. The qualification and subsequent TSP application process are subject to the applicable awarding-body and BCSP requirements.

1. Orientation: Attend an online introduction to the diploma and TSP process.

2. Diploma: Enrol in and complete the Level-6 IDRMSE qualification.

3. TSP application: Submit the TSP application for BCSP review and approval.

4. CSP preparation: Begin structured CSP exam-preparation sessions after completing the diploma.

5. CSP application: Apply for CSP once all eligibility requirements have been met.

6. CSP examination: Schedule your examination when approved and adequately prepared.

The TSP-to-CSP pathway may be suitable for experienced safety professionals who hold, or are pursuing, approved qualifications and meet the applicable CSP education, experience and other eligibility requirements.

BCSP determines individual eligibility and approves applications. Completion of the diploma or obtaining TSP status alone does not guarantee CSP approval or certification.
